Description

An unusual presentation of the first three sheets from Edward Weller's supplement of suburban regions from his nine-sheet map of London.

The three maps shown here cover the area of Notting Hill to the northwest of the city, Greenwich to the southeast, and Bromley to the east, where the West India Dock Basin was located.

Detail is extensive, with buildings, parks, roads, and more all shown. In all, a detailed treatment of three well-known areas of London at a time when they were the distant suburbs of the city.
