Includes over 30 locations and descriptions of the battle.

The siege of Turin was a battle fought between June and September 1706, during the War of the Spanish Succession.  The French army, led by Louis de la Feuillade undertook a 4 month siege of Turin, which was finally broken by forces led by Prince Eugene of Savoy. Following the siege, the French withdrew from Northern Italy, although they remained in the regions previously controlled by the Savoyard north of the Alps until 1713. In March 1707, France, Savoy and Emperor Joseph signed the Convention of Milan, ending the war in Italy.
