Description
Fascinating World War I broadside illustrating the German aircraft that were to be shot down by Frenchmen.
The broadside, which was published in Bordeaux, shows profiles of Taube, Gotha, Rumpler, and Albatros planes, as well as that off a Zeppelin.
Rarity
We purchased a pair of the broadsides in the fall of 2021. We find an example at the Hoover Institution.
We find no examples on the market in almost a decade.
