Description
Attractive antique engraved map of the area of Gelderland around Nijmegen, issued by Valk & Schenk in Amsterdam around 1700.
Three surveyors can be seen discussing around the scale cartouche in the lower-right corner.
North is to the right, with some of the Zuider Zee shown, much of which is now filled in.
Condition Description
Original hand-color in outline. Small hole in the paper just to the lower-right of the title.
