Description

A quite wonderful original photograph showing five or six Native American men, possibly Creeks, posing as part of a larger group of people in an outdoor camp, purportedly in Okmulgee, Indian Territory. In addition to the Native American men, approximately twenty-five white men and boys complete the intriguing outdoor scene. Several of the white men are armed with revolvers or long rifles, and one of the Native Americans appears to be preparing a bow and arrow. Other men handle various pieces of camp equipment including a coffee grinder and various cups and pans.
