Scarce map of northern France, showing the region between the Somme River and the Belgian border. Detail is focused on the region known as Artois, and many towns, cities, forests, rivers, and more are all labeled.
To the north of the region, near Calais, many canals are shown. Towns are depicted in red.
This map was printed in the first part of the 18th century, in Amsterdam, by Valk's heirs.
