A charming vintage pictorial map centered on Flagstaff, Arizona, produced by the local Chamber of Commerce in an attempt to draw more visitors, with the occasional vintage phrase like that quoted above.
The map is delightful, with a great many pictorial elements included. The Grand Canyon is pictured in the northwest corner of the map, points of interest are depicted everywhere, and the local wildlife runs amok through the trees. Distances to Flagstaff for all these attractions are noted.
Despite the popularity of Flagstaff as a tourist destination, early maps which focus on the city are uncommon. This is only the second pictorial map we have had which focuses on Flagstaff.
