Description

Attractive vintage pictorial map of upstate New York and Vermont published in 1930. The map shows the regions north of Albany and the Vermont-Massachusetts border in great detail, and contains pictorial elements.

Scenes drawn on the map include the surrender of General Burgoyne near Saratoga, the discovery of the Lac du St. Sacrament by Father Jogues, and Ethan Allen leading the Green Mountain Boys.

On the sides of the map are listed a number of lodging options in the area. The verso includes a regional map as well as detailed text describing the region.
