Description

Attractive map showing the Valinco Gulf in southern Corsica. The map is oriented with the top to the east, such that the gulf opens southwards. 

The chart was produced for navigational purposes, and numerous depth soundings, passages, and coastal detail is shown. The bays of Campo Moro and the Gulf of Valinco are charted. Mountains, beaches, watering places, towers, and more are denoted.

The Gulf is on the southeastern coast of Corsica. Today, the most populous center in the area is Propriano, situated where the Porticciola Tower is labeled on the map.
