Wonderful and quite scarce 1891 town plan of Atlantic City, New Jersey, by the civil engineer A.Y. Lee.

This 19th-century cadastral map is extremely information-rich, illustrating lots, the footprints of buildings, as well as their owners, and a massive list of "Principal Hotels and Cottages". One can trace the development of Atlantic City into the town it is today through the early businesses such as the "Atlantic City Amusement Co."

The map is evidently very rare; we cannot find another example in general internet searches, nor in OCLC, RBH, or

It has been our experience that 19th-century maps of Atlantic City are very rare as a kind, as well.
