Detailed map of San Diego and San Diego Harbor, published to illustrate proposed plans for the improvement of the Harbor at the time of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The map provides a meticulous accounting of the existing harbor features, as well as numerous proposed changes, areas to be dredged, sea plane basin, yacht basin, Naval reserves, and area being improved near National City to improve navigation and accessibility for larger naval ships with deeper draughts.

Lindbergh Field, the US Marine Corps Base (MCRD) and US Naval Training Stations are also shown.
