Description
Scarce street map of San Diego, with an inset of La Jolla, published by local mapmaker Rodney Stokes.
The map shows an un-reconfigured Mission Bay, as well as scant development north of Mission Valley.
The map shows U.S. Highway 101 and a nascent Lindbergh Field, suggesting it should postdate 1927-28 but perhaps not by much. A date sometime around 1930 makes sense.
Condition Description
Folding map mounted in original covers (somewhat chipped). Some toning and wear at folds.
