Description

Collection of four vintage maps made for to show important locations in the hit television series Star Trek. These four folding wall maps are enclosed in an envelope which itself contains further maps and advertises itself as "The Navigational Charts of the Five-Year Voyage of the Starship Enterprise."

Made for the original Star Trek series, these maps show various areas and star systems integral to the show's plot. Chart A maps the United Federation of Planets, while Charts B-D appears to show particulars of different regions. Curious snippets of information are provided in the collection, including a map of the Klingon Empire and views of several planets, including Vulcan and Sherman's Planet.

Star Trek, now known as Star Trek: The Original Series, aired from 1966 to 1969. First broadcast on Canada's CTV network, the series would achieve cult status when leased during broadcast syndication. The series remains popular to this day and would spawn several subsequent series, including Star Trek: The Next Generation in the late 1980s.
