Description
Wonderful and very scarce vintage pictorial map of Crater Lake, Oregon, by illustrator George Andrew Corley.
The map is redolent of the cartoon maps of the 1920s and '30s and is the only such map of Crater Lake that we have encountered. it shows the crater itself, with characters engaged in the usual tourist pursuits around the edge and the various points of interest named. There are also the usual notes and vignette photographs (also taken by Corley) surrounding the map image itself.
