Great vintage pictorial map showing the abundant fishing to be had in 49 states and nearby waters. The map shows well over a hundred different species of fish overlain alongside where they may be caught.
The map shows numerous freshwater and saltwater fish include sharks, rays, swordfish, trout, tuna, octopus, salmon, and much more. Inset maps show fishing in Alaska and Puerto Rico. In the dry western states, stag, quail, and jaguars are shown in locations where there are fewer fishing opportunities. Additional tables provide more detailed information as to where exactly the best fishing spots in each state are.
Ira Moss published a series of American maps using the same base map design. In all, this is an attractive map perfect for any fan of fishing.
