Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Shipping rates are provided as part of the checkout process.

Description

Vibrant travel poster bird's-eye view map of California, issued for Virgin Atlantic's entry into the California market, which began with a flight to Los Angeles in 1990.

With its bright and loose graphics, the poster is quite redolent of the early '90s. It labels many destinations around California and in particular Southern California; Santa Monica, Palm Springs, La Jolla, Hollywood, etc.

The poster is apparently quite rare today. We have found no other examples.

Condition Description

Archivally backed on modern poster linen. Old small creases at the edges, particularly in the lower-left corner.
