The General Land Office Map of Oregon in 1932
Scarce and highly detailed general land office map of Oregon, tracking the growth of the State shortly after roaring 20s.
The map reflects the importance of the changes made by the US Government in conservation and land management policies, showing National Parks, Monuments, Bird and Game Reservations, National Forests and Bureau of Land Reclamation projects, in addition to the Indian Tribes and Military Reservations that appeared in the 19th Century GLO maps.
Includes tremendous topographical and geographical detail, including up to date state surveys, early railroad lines, post offices, forts, towns, rivers, roads, lakes, mountains, etc.
