Description

Extremely rare bird's-eye view of Lake Benton, Minnesota, published by J.J. Stoner, with artwork by Henry Wellge, and printing by Beck & Pauli, making it a veritable who's-who of late-19th century Midwestern viewmakers.

The primary image looks over the small town of Lake Benton from over the lake itself. Additionally, there is a small inset of the small commercial section of Center Street, and below a view of the town looking toward the lake from on top of the hill.

Rarity

OCLC locates a single example, at Minnesota Historical Society.
