Description

Nice vintage street map of Los Angeles, from Griffith Park in the north to the beginning of the Shoestring Addition in the south. The map was published by the Clason Map Company in 1924, on behalf of Bank of Italy, with their overprinting.

Bank of Italy favored this kind of promotional map in the 1920s, especially in Southern California. This map has their overprinting in red on the front and back. The back of the map features a regional map and a map of the State of California.

An attractive map of Los Angeles from the 1920s boom era.
