Finely executed map of Paris and environs, colored by Districts, published by Tirion in Paris.

The map is drawn from from Abbe Jean Delagrive's monumetal 1728  plan of Paris.

Condition Description
Repaired tear in upper right corner, just entering printed image and some minor staining.
Isaak Tirion Biography

Isaak Tirion was a prominent Dutch publisher based in Amsterdam in the eighteenth century. He is best known for historical works that included prints showing scenes from around the world. He also produced maps, such as those in the Nieuwe Hand-Atlas of 1744.
