Description

Fine early road map of Southern California, published by the Parker Map Company.

The map includes two paste down additions, the "Parker Map Opener" (with Non-Olio car polish advertising) and a paste down advertisement for Horse Shoe Tires.

The main map is a classic pre-1920 road map of Southern California, extending north to the San Fernando Valley and Big Bear Lake area and south to San Diego and the border.  A smaller inset covers the area east to the Arizona border, with smaller city maps of Southern California cities above, including:

  • San Diego
  • Redlands
  • Riverside
  • San Bernardino
  • Pomona
  • Santa Ana
  • Imperial
  • Pasadena
  • Brawley, El Centro

The copyright entry for this map in the Catalog of Copyright entries dates the map to March 1, 1918.
