Bi-lingual Hebrew-Yiddish Map of Israel Published in New York City
Rare 20th Century map of the Land of Israel, based on a map prepared by A. Sapir and A. Kroise for the Zionist General Council.
The map is from a book written by David Ben-Gurion and Itzhak Ben-Zvi in Yiddish in 1918 called "Eretz Yisrael," published by the Zionist workers committee of Palestine in New York. Printed by Alpha Press in New York.
The inset at top left corner is of the biblical division of tribes. Many of the Bedioun tribes are mentioned. Tel Aviv is not yet on the map.
