Promotional map of Rutherford Park, published to promote the sale of "200 Choice Building Plots 40 minutes from Broadway" on May 16th 1871 by A.D. Mellick Jr. & Brother of New York City.

Informative 6 panel promotional brochure on the verso.

Bounded by Carmita Avenue, Passaic Avenue, Park Avenue and Newell Avenue, the lands include the future lands of Felician University (founded in 1923) and Rutherford High School.  

The public school at the corner of Park and Passaic is now the Post Office.
