Attractive color-lithographed map of China, Korea, and Mongolia, published by Giovanni de Agostini, the famous Italian geographer and cartographer, in 1901, during the Boxer Rebellion.

The map depicts eastern China, with insets of Asia, Beijing, and the great Beijing region also included.

A color-coded key at the bottom of the map denotes the territories of China, Russia, Japan, Korea, Siam, Great Britain, France, Germany, and Portugal.

Interest in China was very high in Europe at this point, due to the Boxer Rebellion, which occurred from 1899 to 1901.
