Rare Polish-language antique lithographed map of the Americas, published in Warsaw in 1829.

The map was published in the 1829 edition of the atlas titled Powszechny doręczny atlas naynowszey jeografii złożony z 28 map. The full atlas can be seen here: kolekcijos.biblioteka.vu.lt/en/islandora/object/atmintis:VUB01_000430550#00011

The atlas was published in at least one other edition of 1832.

A key at the right side of the map proposes to differentiate territories and their colonial rulers by hand-coloring.

On the west coast of North America the map labels "Nowa Nawarra", "Nowa Albiona", "Nowa Georgia", "Now Hanowria", and Now: Norfolk".

The map labels the following U.S. cities: Boston, New York, Philadelphia, "Waschingston", "Wiliamsburg" (Virginia), "N-Bern", "Saiannah", Charleston, "Now: Orleans", "Now: Madrit", and St. Joseph.

Very minor soiling in the margins. Otherwise excellent.
