Description
Very rare California pictorial map by San Diego-based mapmaker Lowell E. Jones.
The sheet features a detailed pictorial map of California and on the verso a pictorial view of Lake Huntington "In The High Sierras", which is southeast of Yosemite Valley.
Lowell E. Jones's most famous maps are those of San Diego that he produced in the 1930s and '40s.
This map is surprisingly rare - we have found no other copies online, nor in OCLC. This is only the second time we have had it.
