Detailed early 20th Century street map of Charlotte, North Carolina.

The map illustrates railroads, street car lines, public buildings, parks, hospitals, etc. 

Queens College (Queens University of Charlotte) appears at the far lower right.  Charlotte Water Works appears at the far left.

The map shows the result of Charlotte's massive growth following World War I.  The population in 1900 was 18,091.  By 1930, it was 82,675.
