Scarce early map of Beverly Hills and Westwood, showing the locations of prominent movie star homes, published in the August 1938.

Stars named include Fred Astaire, James Cagney, Charles Chaplin,  Marlene Dietrich, Max Factor, Samuel Goldwyn, Katherine Hepburn,  the Marx Brothers, Mary Pickford, Edward G. Robinson, Gloria Swanson, Jack Warner, Peter John Weissmuller, Jacky Benny, Humphrey Bogart, Barry Cooper, Bing Crosby, Cecil B. DeMille, Henry Fonda, Greta Garbo, Cary Grant, Al Jolson, Boris Karloff, Stan Laurel, Tyrone Power, Ginger Rogers, James Stewart, Shirley Temple, Spencer Tracy and more.

This is the earliest edition of the map we have encountered. Most examples we have seen are from the the late 1940s and 1950s.
