Description
Very rare Los Angeles and California pictorial map by San Diego-based mapmaker Lowell E. Jones.
The sheet features a detailed pictorial map of Los Angeles (in the same style as his much more prolifically published San Diego map) with a larger pictorial map of California on the verso. The sheet also includes a pictorial map of Downtown Los Angeles.
This map is surprisingly rare - we find only one copy in OCLC at Yale. And this is the first time we have ever seen it for sale.
