Description

Nice example of Stoddard's enduring pocket map of the Adirondacks, with a second local map of the North Woods Club.

First issued in 1880, the map was revised more than once a year the last 2 decades of the 19th Century.

The map illustrates the boundary of the park in pink as well as letters of "Adirondack Park."

The Adirondack Park was formed in 1892 by the State of New York, so editions past this date may have the boundary added and the park name highlighted for emphasis.

Condition Description
Minor toning at folds.
