Rare Early Canadian Survey of the Klondike Gold Field, published by the Geological Survey of Canada.

This is one of the earliest comprhensive works published by the the Canadian Government illustrating the gold regions in Western Canada and Alaska.

The map shows: "Valleys known to be productive in gold."; "Old valley gravels (Hill gravels) boundaries approximate."; "Approximate outlines of Klondike Series."

The following mapmakers are credited with preparation of the map: "C.O. Senecal, B.A. Sc., Chief Draughtsman. Compiled and drawn by J.F.E. Johnston, from surveys by Topographical Surveys Branch, Dept. of the Interior, and by J.F.E. Johnston, Geological Survey Dept."
