Rare early-18th-century engraved map of London by John Mottley.
Major buildings and churches of the City (such as Saint Paul's Cathedral) are rendered pictorially.
An interesting view of London, which at this point had barely grown beyond its Medieval footprint, but was about to explode in size and importance.
Condition Description
Left margin repaired, affecting less than 1/4 of an inch of the left side of the image.
