Scarce map of the Western US, including Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada and Idaho and a large portion of Montana and Utah, showing towns, railroads, rivers, lakes, deserts, etc. Perhaps the most interesting feature is the unusually large number of cities which are no longer in existence, suc has Dos Palmas, Tabasaca, Carizzo, Bern, Halleck, Camp Cady Fenner and Ponnell in Southern California, and many more throughout the states. Best guess would be between 50 and 100 such towns are located.
