Description
First state of Janvier's map of America.
Shows a marvelous oversized mythical Bay of the West, unusual Alaskan Archipelago (again completely conjecture and myth), inaccurate course of the Mississipp River, and a marvelous primitive look at the two Americas, slightly before the Revolutionary War in the US. No sign of Hawaii. New Zealand is shown, although only partially known.
