World War II-Era Map of the Hawaiian Islands, Issued by the U.S. Navy Three Months After the Pearl Harbor Attack!

Confidential war map of the Hawaiian Islands.

Originally issued by the US Coast & Geodetic Department in June, 1940, the present map was first converted to wartime use in February 1942, following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

The Grid Data was overprinted by the U.S. Navy Hydrographic Office in March 1944.

A note in purple at the bottom states:

Warning:  Aids to Navigation may be altered, interrupted or removed without notice.  In general, temporary changes due to war conditions are not incorporated on the chart.
