De Jonghe credits Jodocus Hondius as the source of the map and the title is identical to one of Hondius' wall maps of Europe.
De Jonghe's maps are prized for their rarity. This is the first example of the map we have ever seen on the market and the map is virtually unknown to the standard bibliographers.
