Rare French Line Edition

Fine Photographic Style Map of New York City, copyrighted by Samuel Freedman in 1933.

Extends from Ellis Island, the Statute of Liberty and Governors Island in the south to Van Cortlandt Park and Bronk Park and Botanical Garden. Large inset of Central Park at the right.

This antique bird's-eye view map of Manhattan was produced in 1933 for tourist promotional works. A key at bottom shows Points of Interest, Districts and Steamship Piers. Streets are listed at right column.  Inset of Central Park and surrounding area is on bottom left of map.

The view redlines the "French Line," with offices at Battery Park, a Pier at the Foot of West 15th, and redlines highlighting hotels and routes to points to the north, east and west.
