Lieutenant-General Willem Anne van Keppel, 2nd Earl of Albemarle KG KB PC (1702 – 1754) was a British diplomat and courtier. Albemarle County, Virginia is named after the second Earl as, in 1737, Albemarle was appointed Governor of the Colony of Virginia.
