The map includes roadways, canals, and the Intercoastal Waterway; points of interest along and near the eastern edge of the county (including beaches, country clubs, and golf clubs); and several additional points of interest further inland.
Throughout the map, there are illustrated vignettes showing recreational activities and interesting sites or tourist attractions. Each has a numeric label which can be matched to a descriptive list on the opposite side of the map, entitled "Major Attractions in Palm Beach County." On this same side, there is an additional list entitled "Quick Facts about Palm Beach County Playlands," which contains information about Jupiter beach and resort, Juno Beach, Lake Park, Riviera Beach, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Lake Worth, Lantana, Hypoluxo, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton, "The Glades Area" (The Everglades), Pahokee, Canal Point, Belle Glade, and South Bay.
