Intricate detail. Shows shipping lanes, underwater telegraph cables and currents in the oceans. On land, shows and labels rivers, railroads and major cities. Includes time zones. Insets show a detailed map of Europe and a Nicolosi globular projection of the continents. Framed by the flags of the world, with the Rising Sun Flag and Circle of the Sun Flag occupying the most prominent positions.
The map is attractively and simply laid out while conveying extensive information, all in Japanese.
