A Rare Birdseye View Map of the Great Basin -- Utah, Idaho, Wyoming
An exceptionally rare promotional pamphlet for the Union Pacific Railroad, which includes a birdseye view style of map of a large portion of Utah, Idaho, Wyoming.
The map extends from Ogden and the Great Salt Lake in the South to Great Falls and Missoula, Montana in the north, with Helena, Butte, Virginia City, Idaho Falls and Pocatello prominently shown.
The railroad lines of the Union Pacific are shown in red.
Rarity
The map is extremely rare. We locate only the example in the Bancroft Library.
