Description
A Rare Birdseye View Map of Texas and the Great Plains
An exceptionally rare promotional pamphlet for the Union Pacific Railroad, which includes a birdseye view style of map of a large portion of Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma (then Indian Territory), Wyoming, etc.
The map extends from Leadville, Denver and Cheyenne in the west to Fort Worth, Tulsa and Independence in the east.
The railroad lines of the Union Pacific are shown in red.
Rarity
The map is extremely rare. We locate only the example in the Bancroft Library.
