The key illustrates the advances of June 5th - 10th, with each day represented by a different color of the arrow. It also shows positions of "Air Borne Troops"; "Israeli Settlements shelled"; "Main Tank Combats"; and "Initial Enemy Disposition".
With this map, one can get a sense of the exact strategies by which the IDF accomplished its impressive victory and the rapidity with which they did it.
As an official Israeli publication from 1967, this is an important map for the history of the 20th-century conflict.
