A Rare Birdseye View Map of California
An exceptionally rare promotional pamphlet for the Union Pacific Railroad, which includes a birdseye view style of map of a large portion of California.
The map extends from San Diego and Grand Cayon and Virgin River on the right side of the map to San Francisco and Napa at the right, centered on Tulare Lake, with a portion of Nevada in the distance.
The railroad lines of the Union Pacific are shown in red.
Rarity
The map is extremely rare. We locate only the example in the Bancroft Library.
