Description
Well used sea chart of the Indian Ocean and environs, published in 1848 by Aime Robiquet.
The chart includes the tracks of approxiately 3 voyage, with the earliest dates in 1850 and the latest dates in 1867.
The majority of the voyages went to Isle de Bourbon, but several went considerably further, reaching the west coast of Australia in 1850, the Philippines in January 1851 and returning by way of Singapore, crossed in April 1851.
Includes the plate of, Chez Forest Aine, Libraire, Rue J. - J. Rosseau, 1 in Nantes.
Condition Description
Linen backed. Soiled, toned and damp stained from extensive use. Discoloration and abrasion at centerfold.
