Map and Battle Plan -- Siege of Quebec

Fine French & Indian War era map of the Quebec, published in the Universal Magazine.

The primary map illustrates the town of Quebec in 1759, illustrating the town and fortifications at Quebec at the time of the English attack in 1795.

The map includes an inset: "The Port and Environs of Quebec, as it was when attack'd by the English," which illustrates the positions of "34 English Men of War," and the "French Cano's to observe the Motions of the English."

One of the earliest printed maps to provide a contemporary account of the Siege of Quebec in 1759.
