Extending from the Eastern Mediterranean to Persia and from the Black Sea to the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula, with an inset map of the Western Mediterreanean.

The map illustrates the extent of the Turkish Empire at the end of the 17th Century, at a point in time where the Ottoman Empire was still a dominant force in Southern Europe and North Africa.
