On either side of the map image, an detailed key locates important places, Universities, Music Conservatories, Schools, Major Squares, Churches, Chapels, Monstaries, Convents, Women's Cloisters, etc.
The decorative border includes the names of numerous noble familes of Naples.
The cartouche includes an elaborate scene paying tribute to Naples powerful position in commerce, science and nautical history.
