Description

Michel René Hilliard d'Auberteuil's scarce engraved folding map of Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware, published in Paris in 1782, during the closing stages of the American Revolution. The map also features an early reference to Fort Pitt, "Indiana" (east of the Ohio River), and "Indiens de l'Ohio".
