Rare variant of this interesting French map of Brazil, published in Paris by the Depot de la Marine.
The map is exceptionally detailed with Forts, Towns, Villages, Mountains, Rivers, etc.
The title and text are identical to Buchon's map, but the map itself is completely different and notes that it was designed by J.M. Darmet and engraved by Hacq, for the Depot de la Marine.
